Invisible Cinema
Martin Rumsby curated and organized INVISIBLE CINEMA film screenings throughout New Zealand and North America between 1980 and 1995. Rumsby's programs included Stan Brakhage, Michael Snow and Len Lye Retrospectives, a collage film survey as well as experimental films from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. Filmmakers represented in these programs included, John Porter, Arthur Lipsett, Dirk de Bruyn, Donna Cameron, Alison McLean, Mike Hoolboom, David Rimmer, Peter Rose, Chris Gallagher, Tom Palazzolo, M M Serra, Joanna Margaret Paul, Ronnie van Hout, George Rose, Vincent Ward, Michael Wallin and Barbara Hammer.
